Biography
Jean-Luc Agboyibo is the Chief Executive Officer of Omega Sports Holding (OSH), he leads the company in identifying, managing, and growing sports-related investments, while also overseeing daily operations and achieving financial goals.
Prior to joining OSH he has held positions in New Business Development and Partnerships. He managed over 20 partners in these roles, including notable brands like Visit Rwanda, New Fortress Energy, Hennessy, Nike, Jordan Brand, and Wilson. He collaborated with various departments within the organization to enhance BAL products and expand its global presence.
Prior to joining the BAL, Jean-Luc worked at Canal+ International as a Business Developer for A+, an entertainment channel focused on the African continent.
Mr. Agboyibo started his career in the sports industry at Africa Top Sports (Group Duval), where he served as a Project Manager. In this role, he developed partnerships and oversaw a team of 10 individuals, including journalists, a webmaster, and a graphic designer.
From 2016 to 2020, Jean-Luc served as a Board Member of the FNB-Togo. He led the youth commission and advised the federation president on infrastructure and partnership matters.
In 2013, Jean-Luc founded Miledou, a program that uses basketball as an entry point to educate and empower youth in Togo and Cote d’ivoire. The initiative has impacted over 5,000 boys and girls aged between 8 and 18 in 15 cities and villages. Miledou has received support from NBA Africa and is funded by organizations such as AFD, Total Energies, and Cosmos.
For his dedication to youth education and gender equity, Jean-Luc has been selected by the Obama Foundation for the program Leaders Africa in 2018. He received other distinctions from organizations such as Mo Ibrahim Foundation (2019) and the French African Foundation (2021).
Mr. Agboyibo holds a MS in Sports Management from AMOS Sports Business School with honors. He has a Master’s in Management with a major in Finance at IAE Paris – Sorbonne Business School. Jean-Luc received a BS in Mathematics applied to Economy and Finance from Paris 1 Sorbonne University.
